Hi. I’m Danielle. This is my public blog where I’ll dump stuff about books, politics, decorating, gardening, cooking, and the like.
I might mention OT from time to time. He’s my little boy who’s largely anonymous on the Internet. I won’t show his face or use his first name, but I’ll talk about him. He is four years old and 100% boy. My husband’s name is John. We live in a little house by a creek in Mississippi. I travel with a suitcase full of outrageous blessings.
First and foremost, I am a Christian. I’m Presbyterian, and very Reformed. I’m pro-life and I believe in young-earth creation. And I make no apologies for any of this.
I’m a reader. I like historical fiction (but only if it’s regency period, really), young adult, cozy mystery, and what I guess is known as “women’s fiction” or “chick lit.” I don’t at all care for stuffy “literary fiction.” If it’s the latest craze and critics say that if I’m smart, I’ll read it, then I won’t read it.
I also love football. I’m an Ole Miss (my alma mater) and Mississippi State fan, but most of all, I love the New Orleans Saints. I’m a church choir first alto.
Also, I’m extremely conservative, socially and fiscally. I’m a tea party supporter, have never voted Democrat in my life, and can’t wait to see how the U.S. will change in the coming months and years!

From one Mississippi Mama to another, HELLO!! I found your blog on the sign up page for the Audio Book Challenge…I’ll be participating as well
